PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk player of a slot in a type constituted in such a manner that, when either of a 80-mm disk or a 120-mm disk is loaded in a player for either of the disks, the disk can be exactly fixed to the center of a turntable by a single mechanism regardless of sizes of the disks. SOLUTION: The optical disk player has a guide means for always exactly guiding the optical disk inserted into a loading section (100) to the center of a player inlet (16) and has a disk guide device capable of driving either of the 80 mm disk or the 120 mm disk.
