PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more colorful menu and to improve an interactivity when reproducing the contents from a recording medium. SOLUTION: In an information recording medium 1 having a data region 12 which includes a control region 30 and an object region 40, the object region 40 stores an expanded video object 42 which is reproduced and controlled by a logical unit called a program chain and an advanced objects 44 and 45 which are recorded separately from the expanded video object.
