PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge operation device of a refuse collecting vehicle easy in operation, preventing erroneous operation, and allowing a worker to perform discharge operation after ensuring safety while grasping situation of a rear part of the vehicle. SOLUTION: In this refuse collecting vehicle, a refuse charging box provided with a refuse loading device in a rear face opening part of a refuse storing box loaded on a vehicle frame is continuously provided tiltably and a discharge plate in the refuse storing box is moved from the front to the rear to discharge refuse in the refuse storing box to the outside while the refuse charging box is upward tilted by operating the discharge operation device 7 provided in a driver's seat and a rear face of the refuse storing box is opened. The discharge operation device 7 is provided with an operation lever 72 capable of performing operation in four directions from a neutral position to up, down, left, and right positions. The operation lever 72 is constituted to perform upward tilting and falling-down of the refuse charging box by operation in two directions on one side of up and down positions or left and right positions and forward and backward moving of the discharge plate by operation in two directions on the other side of up and down positions or left and right positions.
