PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front structure of a vehicle body capable of enhancing the absorption effect of an impact sustained by a front side member when the front side member is subjected to the impact and moved upwardly. SOLUTION: The front structure 1 of the vehicle body has a bumper reinforcement 10, and a crash box 11 is mounted on both ends of the bumper reinforcement 10. A front side member 12 is arranged on a rear part of the crash box 11, an upper member 13 is provided above the front side member 12, and a rear end of the upper member 13 is fixed to a front pillar 14.
