PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoder runout-error correction circuit capable of enhancing the accuracy of alignment of a printing element such as paper with a rotary printing drum in a system using a low-cost encoder sensor. SOLUTION: A new encoder system composed so as to be used with a printing structure includes, at least, a code wheel 120 combined with a rotary printing structural element, a first encoder sensor 140 which is mounted at a first position to the outer side of the code wheel 120 and composed so as to output a first output signal, a second encoder sensor 142 which is mounted at a second position to the outer side of the code wheel 120 and composed so as to output a second output signal and arranged at the position with the angle of substantially 180 degree against the first encoder sensor 140 and a logic correction circuit 164 which receives the first and second output signals and is composed so as to output the corrected signal having the period of the average value between the first output signal period and the second output signal one.
