PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting shaft capable of easily connecting and disconnecting between a first portion and a second portion of accessories and to provide a wristwatch having the connecting shaft. SOLUTION: This connecting shaft 32 is provided with a hollow part 332, a body 33 having a stopper 38 projecting from the internal circumferential face 37 of the hollow part 332, a pin 34 having a first groove 40 inserted in the hollow part 332 and provided in the outer circumferential face 342 along its circumferential direction, and a second groove 49 provided in the outer circumferential face 342 and communicating with the first groove 40, and a compression spring 35 energizing the body 33 and the pin 34 in a direction where the whole length of the connecting shaft 32 extends. The stopper 38 is engaged with the first groove 40 to retain a contracted state where the whole length is contracted, and when the body 33 and the pin 34 are relatively rotated from the contracted state, the stopper 38 is inserted into the second groove 49 to be changed into an extended state where the whole length extends longer than the contracted state by the energizing force of the compression spring 35.
