PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component and the manufacturing method of the same capable of winding a wire around a core without damaging the wire and capable of manufacturing the same without inviting an increase in the cost. SOLUTION: The coil component 10 is provided with a core 11 having a core winding unit 11A, flanges 11B formed at both ends thereof, and the wire 12 wound around the winding core unit.
