PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a part free from settling for a long time where receives repulsive force while being in sliding contact with a lock part and a spindle part. SOLUTION: The tire testing machine is provided with: a cylindrical first spindles 10, 42 having one of rims 15, 16 of a tire 3 and also having the locking part 26 on the internal wall; a pillar like second spindle 11, 43 having the other of the rims 15, 16 and internally fitting into the first spindles 10, 42; and the lock member 12 fitted radially retractably to the second spindles 11, 43, engaged with the locking part 26, and preventing the first spindles 10, 42 from breaking away the second spindles 11, 43 in an axial direction. The second spindles 11, 43 are provided with the groove 23 provided extendedly around the outer periphery and being in sliding contact with the lock member 12. The sliding contact surface of the lock member 12 and groove 23 is made into a surface of a receiving part 37 for receiving the repulsive force of both the spindles. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
