PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing copper fine particles which have particle sizes of 50 nm or smaller, a narrow particle size distribution, superior dispersibility and superior oxidation resistance, with a polyol method which is a liquid-phase method suitable for mass production, and to provide a dispersion liquid containing the copper fine particles. SOLUTION: In a method for producing the copper fine particles by heating and reducing the oxide, hydroxide or salt of copper in a solution of polyethylene glycol or ethylene glycol, this method includes adding palladium ions for nucleation, polyethyleneimine for a dispersing agent and an alkaline inorganic compound for a reduction reaction control agent as needed, to the solution, to obtain the copper fine particles containing palladium with particle sizes of 50 nm or smaller. The dispersion liquid of the copper fine particles is obtained by solvent-substituting a polar solvent for the solution and concentrating the product. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
