PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain perfume particles which have excellent stability in transportation and preservation and excellent appearance, and a detergent composition containing the perfume particles. SOLUTION: The perfume particles comprise (A) 5-30 wt.% of perfume, (B) an oil absorbent carrier having≥100ml/100g and <800ml/100g oil absorption capacity measured by JIS-K5101, (C) a binder and (D) inorganic particles having <100ml/100g oil absorption measured by JIS-K5101 and composed of≥20% particles having <20μm particle diameter and≥10% particles having≥100μm particle diameter and having no hygroscopicity and are compacted by extrusion granulation.
