PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a vibration piece where defects such as projection hardly are generated, and to provide the vibration piece, a vibrator having the vibration reed, an oscillator and a mobile phone. SOLUTION: This invention provides the method for manufacturing the vibration piece consisting of a base and at least a plurality of vibration thin rods projected from the base and in each of which a groove 120a is formed. The manufacturing method is characterized in that a process where the external shape of the vibration piece having the base 130 and the vibration thin rods 120 is formed and a process where each groove 120a is formed in each of the vibration thin rods are separately performed.
