PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage controlled oscillator that uses a MOS varactor to which correction bias is supplied, along with a radio communication device using the same. SOLUTION: With active circuits 22 and 22X having negative resistance, a resonator connected to the output of the negative circuit comprises inductors 25 and 25X, and a first capacitor 23 and an MOS varactor 24 constituting a capacitor. Bias circuits 29 and 211 supply bias voltage which is compensated with MOS threshold value voltage to the MOS varactor.
