PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the security and convenience of a security system. SOLUTION: When a server 6 is operated from a mobile telephone 8 at a visiting place to make watch setting of an information terminal 5 equipped with a security function of communicating with a crime-prevention sensor 2 and a managing/control function of a gas meter 4, a watch setting means 301 makes the watch settings and an answer to the mobile telephone is made according to state information of the gas meter 4 held by an equipment managing means 304, so safety including not only crime-prevention settings, but also the energy use state in the home can additionally be confirmed to improve the convenience and also improve the safety of a security system communicating network home electric appliances and the meter 4.
