<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress problems in acceleration response and surging of an electric supercharger when drives of the electric supercharger and a motor are controlled according to operation conditions of an engine in a powertrain equipped with the electric supercharger. <P>SOLUTION: Both of the motor and the electric supercharger are put in non-operation state in a zone X where a target torque established based on engine load and engine speed is a first predetermined value Twot or less, only the motor is put in operation state in a zone Y where the target torque is larger than the first predetermined value Twot and is a second predetermined value Ty larger than the first predetermined value Twot or less, and both of the motor and the electric supercharger are put in operation state in a zone Z where the target torque is larger than the second predetermined value Ty. However, at a time of transition A→B from the zone X to the zone Y under a certain condition of acceleration request, the motor is temporarily put in the operation state during an earlier part of the transition to assist engine torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
