<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run for an automobile with excellent productivity capable of preventing generation of noise by preventing displacement or the like of a door glass by a pseudo-hollow-like indoor side seal lip and an outdoor side seal lip. <P>SOLUTION: In the glass run for the automobile, the outdoor side seal lip 50 and the indoor side seal lip 60 are provided on an outdoor side side wall 20 and an indoor side side wall 30 respectively and an outdoor side extension lip 55 and an indoor side extension lip 65 are bent and extended from respective distal ends of the outdoor side seal lip 50 and the indoor side seal lip 60 toward the outdoor side side wall and the indoor side side wall.
