PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable frequency noise reduction system capable of giving occupants including a driver natural feeling of driving an automobile. SOLUTION: This variable frequency noise reduction system selectively silencing a desired noise frequency of engine intake system noise generated and changed according to a vehicular engine rotation speed by an engine rotation speed detection device, a computing process device and a variable frequency resonance type resonator device. Intake noise increases linearly or roughly linearly as engine rotation speed increases by using resonance or antiresonance which are characteristics of the variable frequency resonance type resonator device.
