PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make sliding doors flush with each other in a closed condition, to greatly improve its external appearance as well as to facilitate open/close operation. SOLUTION: The sliding door assembly, which is a group of three sliding doors continuously adjacent to each other in a closed condition, is composed of a central sliding door, one sliding door arranged at a lateral side of the central sliding door and the other sliding door arranged at the other lateral side of the central sliding door. The group of the three sliding doors is arranged in a flush manner when closed. Furthermore the group of three sliding doors closed in the flush manner is provided with a guide mechanism which guides one sliding door to move toward the other sliding door so that the sliding door overlaps the other sliding door and also guides the central sliding door to move toward the other sliding door so as to be placed at the back of the other sliding door.
