PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank structure capable of economically coping with uplift pressure because uplift pressure caused by underground water is applied to an underground tank. SOLUTION: In the structure of the underground tank comprising a side wall, a bottom slab and a roof plate, an upper part of the side wall is provided with a shelf board projected toward the outside of the tank.
