PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain guard umbrella for a vehicle door capable of solving the problem of being wetted with rain while one opens the vehicle door under the rain, seats himself on the seat, shuts his umbrella, and finally closes the door, which also applies to his getting off the vehicle. SOLUTION: The body 1 of this rain guard umbrella for the vehicle door is structured so that a mounting part of an umbrella opening part to be attached to the roof over the door of the vehicle is inserted to the upper part of the vehicle door and a down-facing clasp fitted with a spring 4 is pulled down and hitched at the lower part of a window visor, which causes the spring to shrink and the umbrella opening part to be fixed. The lower part of the umbrella body is furnished with a magnet, suction cup, and magic tape(R) whichever should be adopted to suit the roof configuration of the vehicle, and it is arranged so that the door umbrella opens when the door is opened and cloth expanding/contracting ribs of the door umbrella accommodate the cloth of the umbrella in the umbrella body when the door is closed.
