METHOD FOR GRAPHICALLY GENERATING DARK-OUTLINED VECTORS

The invention relates to graphics libraries delivering graph functions for drawing symlological images. Said invention is particularly usable for generating symbological images for aircraft piloting. The aim of the invention is to develop a method for graphically generating a coloured vector in a single line (V) which is outlined by a dark contour (H) on a coloured background, thereby making it possible to preserve an antialiasing function. Said method uses two different mixing lows depending on the vector pixel position with respect to the central axis thereof. The inventive method is characterised in that it makes it possible to optimise calculations and avoid successive writings in a buffer, the dark contour is drawn simultaneously with the vector, thereby becoming an integral part and an operational state thereof and the method takes into account the priorities of vectors with respect to each other with a single scheduling logic.
