The device has a unit with an end section which is provided from a rotation axle that is oriented perpendicularly to a level along which a platform (8) moves. A mean is pivoted around a platform. The mean has a concave designed internal contour with an opening side that shows a clearance. The opening side is transferable from one position by turning the mean around the axis of rotation into another position. The opening side is oriented against the direction of motion of the platform, and the mean provides technically functional unit along the internal contour. An independent claim is also included for a use of a device for an attachment to an agricultural progressive movement unit.
