An information recording/reproducing device, an information recording/reproducing method, and an audio program, wherein musical compositions can be recorded on even a non-stop CD without need to record them in order from the first musical composition, audio data can be continuously recorded even if the musical compositions are recorded irrespective of the their order, and the sound can be continuously reproduced. A system controller acquires TOC from a CD (S2), starts searching for CDDB (S3). In this case, the system controller reproduces the musical composition on the CD from near the end of the first musical composition (S7), judges a portion near the end of a musical composition by acquiring a sub-code from the CD, and stores musical composition interval data (CD data) in several samples (S8, S9, S10). S7 to S10 are repeated till the second last track (S6), and the musical composition interval data recorded on all the tracks are stored. If search for the CDDB is ended (S4), a playlist is created from the information on an HDD. The playlist and the musical composition interval data recorded on all the tracks are associated with each other and stored on the HDD (S5).
