<p>The apparatus includes a transmitter and a receiver for sending and receiving luminous laser beams when the apparatus is aligned with another apparatus. The transmitter includes a signal conditioning and signal adapter module, amplifier module for processing differential signal, modulator, solid-state laser diode, thermal control module, and optical collimation module. The receiver includes optical focusing module, photodiode module, pre-amplifier module, continuous signal canceling module, signal conversion and amplifier module, and signal preparation and adapter module. The apparatus emits and receives laser beam in the free space for digital communication networks with different physical layers.</p> |
