The inventive low-fall modular hydraulic machine (10) is usable for producing hydraulic power or for directly using mechanical power and comprises an adjusting element (50) for setting a stable operating mode with constant speed and power irrespective of the instantaneous power required by a user. The excess power can be used for charging batteries, pumping water, generating heat or cold or simply dissipated in resistances (51). Said machine (10) is adaptable to different waterfall heights by substituting a hydraulic wheel (4) by a different pitch wheel or by manually adjusting the blades thereof. The entire micro-station consisting of a sealed chamber (20) which comprises said hydraulic machine can be located near a dam-free waterfall.
