The invention relates to novel cyclopenta[b]benzofuran derivatives, to a method for the production thereof and to their utilization for the production of medicaments, especially for the prophylaxis and/or therapy of acute or chronic diseases which are characterized by high cellular stress, local or systemic inflammatory processes or hyperproliferation.
