A method of determining the position of air inlets and outlets in a motor vehicle in-built headlight where an air stream is produced by movement depending upon engine compartment construction comprises numerical simulation of the air stream under given conditions so that at least one air inlet is at high pressure and outlet at low pressure regions. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle headlight as above.
