The conveyor has a powder supply unit (1) connected to a supply regulating unit (2) by a bayonet nut connector (4). Spacer bolts (5) in the powder supply unit are inserted into recesses (11) in a cover unit (3) for connecting the supply unit and the cover unit. The regulating unit includes a conveying plate (6) with chambers for transportation of powder into a powder outlet channel (8). An independent claim is also included for a usage of a powder conveyor for thermal spraying e.g. cold gas spraying.
