AFFINITY PARTICLE AND METHOD OF AFFINITY SEPARATION

Affinity particles which each comprises an organic particle, the phosphorylcholine group represented by the following formula (1) bonded to the surface of the particle by covalent bonding, and a ligand specifically having an affinity for a target substance, the ligand being bonded to the surface of the particle by covalent bonding or adsorption. Also provided is a method of affinity separation by which a target substance can be easily separated with high accuracy by means of the affinity particles based on organic particles.
