The muscle powered light vehicle such as a bicycle includes support elements which are assembled into a tubular frame (1) in which are installed the transmission elements for the vehicle's propulsion such as linear guides (12) for the pedals (10) with all the drive elements (11,19) for the transmission of power to freewheels for driving a pinion (21) which drives the driving wheel (6) of the vehicle. Operating rods (27) are provided for the controlling of the vehicle.
