MODIFICATION OF PLATELET-SHAPED SILICA CLAY

摘要

Disclosed is a method of modifying layered silica clay. The method comprises first reacting the layered silica clay with an organic amine compound, and second reacting the clay subjected to the first reaction with a silane compound. It is possible to produce a polymer/clay composite having excellent mechanical properties using the modified layered silica clay.
