A device for supplying air for a fuel cell is provided to make possible to adjust the supply of air depending on the amount of electric current generated from a unit cell, thus to make uniform supply of air to an air flow channel in each unit cell and to significantly improve the fuel cell performance. The device for supplying air for a fuel cell comprises air supplying pipes(31) which are independently connected to each air flow channel(Co) in each unit cell(110), wherein the fuel cell comprises a stack of unit cells, each of which comprises: an electrolyte membrane(111); electrodes(112,113) formed on each side of the electrolyte membrane; and a plurality of separating panels(114,115) which contact to each electrode and have a fuel flow channel and an air flow channel respectively, so that the fuel and air are independently cycled through its channel while generating ions, wherein the air supplying pipe has a valve(140) for adjusting the amount of air supply on each of the inlet thereof, and the plurality of unit cells are connected in a way of intercommunicating with the manifolds(120,130) on the inlet and outlet part, wherein both of the manifolds comprises a plurality of air holes(122,132) so as to communicate with the air flow channel in independent way. |
