<p>In an encrypted data transmission technology using digital holography, information of each pixel of image data of one picture is expressed by 8-bit data, and the 8-bit data is disassembled into data of four upper order bits and that of four lower order bits. Each of the data of four upper and four lower order bits is made into four-upper-order-bit data, to which dummy data of (1000)<sub>2</sub> is added in the four lower order bit positions, thereby creating an 8-bit data group for transmission. The thus created 8-bit data groups are divided into data groups for one picture, and a digital hologram is created for the data groups of one picture for transmission, whereby the original data can be reassembled without occurrence of errors at the receiver end. In addition, this digital hologram itself is used as encrypted data.</p> |
