<p>The polysaccharide composition containing about 50 % by weight to 90 % by weight amylose and at least one further material of plant origin, which is selected from the group consisting of: grasses, especially viscantus; cereal, especially wheat, rye, oats, their corns and/or their bran and/or their straw; lupines, especially alkaloid poor sweet lupines, preferably their seeds; linen, leguminosae, in particular peas, lentils, beans, preferably soybeans; plant fibres such as coconut, sisal and banana fibres, especially plant fibres with a long structured cellulose; as well as mixture thereof are described. The polysaccharide composition is useful for the process for the manufacture biodegradable article, especially nonrecurring.</p> |
