METHOD FOR BUILDING A SOFTWARE PRODUCT

An improved method for building a body of software by monitoring the output of tools used to build the body of software and/or analysing the content of build instruction files for enabling binary files delivered by the build of the body of software to be allocated to one of a set of discrete components derived from a pre-existing division of source code modules for the body of software into sets, thereby dividing the creation of the body of software into a comparable set of independently distributable components.
