<p>Mixer has a mixing unit with a rotary speed control through a central opening in the lid of a closed mixing vessel. The mixing tool is rotated by a drive shaft, and its ends rub against the vessel wall to draw in the material for mixing. During mixing, the vessel and the mixer are rotated around the axis. The vessel has an inner base, with an adjustable height setting. The mixer, for blending the ingredients of a formula, has a mixing unit with a rotary speed control through a central opening (11) in the lid (9) of a closed mixing vessel (1), of the required dimensions for the batch being mixed. The mixing tool (2) is rotated by a drive shaft (15), and its ends rub against the vessel wall to draw in the material for mixing.
