Composition (A) regulating the growth of microencapsulated insects comprises an active ingredient (I) regulating the growth of the insects encapsulated within a wall of polyurethane or polyurea. Composition (A) regulating the growth of a microencapsulated insects comprises an active ingredient (I) regulating the growth of the insects encapsulated within a wall of polyurethane or polyurea, having: a particle diameter of 1-40 mu m, wall thickness of 0.005-0.5 mu m, wall thickness diameter of 0.0003-0.003 and the volume proportion of microencapsulated particles having diameter of at least 50 mu m not more than 20 vol.% compared with the total volume of the microencapsulated particles.
