A display device (10) includes a sampling unit (11) which samples an output signal (S1) from a sensor (1) at every predetermined crank angle ¸, a memory controller (14) which stores data in a memory (12) in response to a store command (Ss), and a display controller (13) which superimposes waveforms of data corresponding to different memory periods on a screen of a display (2) in response to the display command (Sd), so that operational states of the loom at different times can be easily compared with each other and evaluated.
