A farm tractor has a vehicle frame which carries driven front and rear wheels. The vehicle frame includes a main housing 1 which includes an oil sump on which an internal combustion engine 3 is located. A separate housing 2 in front of the main housing 1 carries independent wheel suspension 4 for the front wheels, a front differential and a steering cylinder for pivoting the front wheels. The separate front housing 2 at its front portion also includes support locations 16, 17 for a lower suspension arrangement 18 connected to front implement lifting cylinders 20. The housing arrangement improves the view of the implement for a driver of the tractor. |
