<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the clogging due to a screen carrier and to maintain a treating performance by uniformizing the flow rate passing through the screen. SOLUTION: The device has a biological reaction tank for holding the carrier in a floating state and a flow passage 1 for discharging the water to be treated to the reaction tank, and the screen 2 is provided on the upstream side of the flow passage 1 and a flow straightening plate 3 for uniformalizing the flow rate of the water flowing the screen 2 is provided at the downstream side. A pump may be disposed at the downstream side of the flow straightening plate 3 and the flow straightening plate 3 may be partially provided in a vicinity of the water surface of the flow passage 1 and in a vicinity of a suction port of the pump in the flow passage 1, and many openings 4 may be perforated at the flow straightening plate 3.</p> |
