The present invention refers to a tray for collecting fluids spilt in oil well perforation and maintenance equipment. Said tray is characterized in that it comprises a substantially rectangular-shaped base and vertical perimetral walls with a certain tilt that generate obtuse angles with respect to the base in order to lead the collected fluid towards a funnel-shaped receptacle located at the base where a piping with hermetic seals is coupled, the aforesaid piping being useful for evacuating the fluid and leading it to other treatment areas. The inventive tray comprises means for fastening endless tensors at the upper portion thereof, which are strategically placed and anchored to a substructure beam; this structural matrix is covered with a high-density polyethylene geomesh that is longitudinally and transversally bi-oriented and designed for providing a high resistance to the piece. The structural matrix is completely covered with glass fiber for reducing overweight, the same furthe r comprising a vinyl polychloride geomembrane of a high molecular weight that is stabilized against ultraviolet light and plasticized for providing a long duration, a short shrinkage and resistance to hydrocarbons, acids and alkalis as well as being treated with a flame retardant agent.
