FIELD: electrical engineering; power stations. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed inverter drive has series-connected dc current supply, current inverter, transformer, contactor, and electric motor. Capacitor bank is connected in parallel with transformer and battery, in parallel with motor. Motor shaft is connected to input shaft of worm-gear reduction unit.
