FIELD: light industry, in particular, manufacture of transformable furniture. ^ SUBSTANCE: adjustment mechanism has pole, cantilever, bracket and at least one spring. Pole is attached directly to seat or furniture case. Pole upper part is connected through pivots to lower part of cantilever, and upper part of cantilever is connected through pin to bracket positioned rearward of back. In vertical position of cantilever relative to seat, its edge abuts against pole to thereby provide for vertical position of back relative to seat. First spring is positioned between pivots and second spring is put onto pin. Rotation in single plane of cantilever relative to pole and of bracket relative to cantilever ensures adjustment of position of back or arm rest and retaining in said position in vertical plane with predetermined inclination angle relative to furniture seat. ^ EFFECT: simplified construction, convenient operation, wider operational capabilities, improved stability and ergonomics of lying and seating furniture. ^ 15 cl, 5 dwg |
