A pyrazole compound represented by the formula (a): (a) wherein R1 represents C1-4 alkyl or trifluoromethyl, R2represents C1-4 alkyl, and R3 represents hydrogen or C1-6 alkyl; R 4 represents halogeno, etc. and m is an integer of 0 to 4; R5 represents halogeno, etc. and n is an integer of 0 to 4; R6 and R7 are the same or different and each represents hydrogen, halogeno, or methyl; and X represents oxygen or a group represented by R8O-N, wherein R8 represents hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, etc. The compound is highly active in controlling harmful arthropods.
