PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding method capable of being simply carried out without using large scaled equipment when the mold clamping force of an injection mold is 1 t or below, and an injection molding machine therefor. SOLUTION: When a resin material is injected and filled under predetermined injection pressure or below, the injection mold 1a is held between a plurality of the holding arms 41 formed to a primary clamp 4a to apply primary mold clamping force and the resin material is injected and filled in this state. When the resin material is injected and filled under the predetermined injection pressure or above, the injection mold 1a is held between a plurality of the holding arms 41 formed to a primary clamp 4a to apply primary mold clamping force and further held between a plurality of holding arms 51 formed to a secondary clamp 5a to apply secondary mold clamping force and the resin material is injected and filled in a mold cavity in this state to obtain a resin molded product.
