PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan shroud structure for an automobile capable of minimizing the noise of a fan by optimizing an installation position of the fan in a vehicle longitudinal direction relative to a fan shroud. SOLUTION: When length in the vehicle longitudinal direction of an impeller 7 of the fan 3 is defined as A, a superposing distance of a fan ring 4 and the impeller 7 of the fan 3 is defined as B and a distance from a front end of the impeller 7 of the fan 3 to a rear end of the fan ring 4 is defined as C, a suction overburden ratio (%) is B/A×100=55-65 and a delivery overburden ratio (%) is C/A×100=140-160.
