PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability in run flat traveling and to reduce rolling resistance in usual traveling. SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire is provided with an underlay 11 consisting of a cord ply where the tire is rotated around the tire axis and a reinforced cord 12 is juxtaposed at the angle of within±10°with respect to the tire peripheral direction at a tread inner cavity side area Yt or the side inner cavity side area Ys of the tire inner cavity side. The reinforced cord 12 is made of non-continuous cord 13 having at least not less than one discontinuous part C while the underlay 11 makes a round. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
