<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component for a fuel cell capable of conducting the formation of a gasket at a time, making the formation of a through hole unnecessary on MEA2, and decreasing the fastening force in the compression of an MEA2 in the component for the fuel cell formed by integrally molding the gasket 3 to the MEA2. <P>SOLUTION: The component is equipped with the MEA2 arranged between a pair of separators 4 and compressed in cell assembly, a rubber impregnation part 5 formed by impregnating a part of rubber which is a gasket forming material in the outer periphery of the MEA2, a flat gasket part 6 integrally formed on the outer peripheral side of the rubber impregnating part 5 and comprising the rubber, a lip 7 formed on the flat gasket part 6, and a recessed part 8 for relieving in lip compression . The thickness d<SB>3</SB>of the rubber impregnation part 5 and the flat gasket part 6 is set so as to be equalized with the thickness d<SB>2</SB>of the MEA 2 in cell assembly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
