<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna switching controller capable of reducing the frequency for interrupting transmission/reception due to unnecessary switching of antenna, and to provide a communication terminal. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna switching control section 107 performs switching of antenna and acquires the receiving level of all antennas when lowering of communication quality is indicated and identification information of the cell of a base station equipment covering the location of its own communication terminal and of an antenna having highest reception level corresponding to the communication state of its own communication terminal is not stored in a storage section 108. Identification information of the antenna having highest reception level is stored in the storage section 108 in association with cell identification information and the communication state information. When lowering of communication quality is indicated during switching to a certain antenna under some communication state, switching control of antenna is carried out based on the identification information of antenna stored in the storage section 108 and corresponding with the cell identification information and communication state information at that time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
