<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of sustaining operation even if a voltage lowers, and to provide an electric pump device. <P>SOLUTION: An inversion circuit 12 inverts a DC voltage being inputted from a DC power supply into an AC voltage having a predetermined frequency and voltage and drives a motor (M)2. A control circuit 15 acquires a DC voltage value from a DC voltage detection circuit 11 and lowers a frequency value set in the inversion circuit 12 when the DC voltage value lowers below a reference voltage level. When the frequency lowers, output current from the inversion circuit 12 lowers. Since the output current from a current detection circuit 13 for monitoring a protection circuit 14 does not exceed a protection level, the inversion circuit 12 is not interrupted.
