PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform simple authentication to an authenticated user next time, to perform authentication in short time without dropping a security level and to reduce overhead of an authentication server. SOLUTION: When a connection request with a server 113 is performed from a client 111 to the authentication server 112, the authentication server 112 authenticates a user by identification information and authentication information, simultaneously stores pieces of user information 131, 132 constituted of addresses, port numbers of transmitting origin and destination of the user and a session key generated at the time of authentication, stores the number of used connections applied by the user at the time of authentication or connection information in a connection existing period, when it is necessary to authenticate the user again, performs the simple authentication of the user based on the connection information or the user information.
